DESCRIPTION:Westchester County Association of Fire Chiefs (WCAFC) presents: \nDr./Chief Will Anderson to discuss Fire Chief Burn Out Among Fire Chief/First Responders.\nDiscussion will include causes\, consequences and potential cures. Chief Anderson will\ndemonstrate how this can affect families\, fire service personnel\, and emergency personnel. \nThe presentation is 120 minutes and will involve a power point presentation\, lecture with time for\nquestions\, The presentation will summarize Dr./Chief Anderson’s doctoral dissertation\, which aims\nto educate current and future fire chiefs\, their personnel\, their families and fire service members\nabout how to recognize burnout\, avoid harmful leadership behaviors and build resiliency to lead\ntheir organization with excellence. \nDr./Chief Will Anderson is a retired Chief Fire Officer from Northeast Ohio who has served 30 years\nin the Fire Service in both combination and career departments. \nSpouse and families are invited and encouraged to attend\nLight refreshments will be served. \nWCAFC – Presentation – Burn Out – 2025-10-08
